Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce high-quality tomographic images for designated body regions.

Qualified candidates hold ARRT (RT) or ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR) credentials and BLS certification. Preference given to those with 1 year MRI experience and additional Life Support certifications. On-call required; weekend availability may apply.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT) or Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR).
• Must hold Certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• One year of MRI experience preferred; additional Life Support credentials or other clinical certifications may be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body.
