Qualifications

• Certification from recognized boards such as ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMRIT is required; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of MRI safety, imaging protocols, and patient care standards is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures, prepare and analyze data for diagnostic interpretation.

• Administer and document medications as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and verify data transfer and storage.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, assist with MRI interventional procedures, and apply safety principles to minimize risks.
