Job summary

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC seeks a MRI Technologist to support imaging services at the Northport VA Medical Center in Northport, NY. Shifts include days, evenings, nights, with weekend and holiday rotation; schedules may change.

Expect responsibility for MRI exams, contrast administration, patient preparation, and safety protocols within the VA facility. The role requires ARRT MRI certification, active state licensure, BLS, and at least 3 years of advanced imaging experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and MRI-specific credentials are required.
• Active Radiologic Technologist license in any US state.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum three years in advanced imaging modalities (CT/MRI).

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of MRI examinations, including contrast and non-contrast studies.
• Prepare patients and ensure comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
• Operate CT and MR equipment per protocols and guidelines.
• Administer contrast agents and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Document procedures and track reportable CT radiation doses.
• Maintain MRI safety standards and equipment cleanliness.
• Communicate with radiologists, physicians, nurses and staff.
