Job summary

Shared Medical Services is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our growing team on a state-of-the-art mobile scanner, serving local communities. This is a stable, full-time, employee-centric position within SMS ONETEAM, offering opportunities to build lasting relationships with various healthcare facilities.

You will perform MRI imaging procedures, review patient screening forms, and ensure patient care and safety, while maintaining professional conduct and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) or ARMRIT registered
• ARRT (MR) registered preferred
• You will need to produce quality imaging with limited supervision and interact professionally

Responsibilities

• MRI imaging procedures in accordance with accepted standards of practice, including administering contrast agents (under the guidance and approval of the site Radiologist)
• Review and complete patient screening forms and properly explain the procedure to the patient
• Maintain excellent patient care, comfort, safety and confidentiality, and maintain your technical competency through continuing education

Education

ARRT (R) or ARMRIT registered

ARRT (MR) registered preferred
