Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform routine, interventional MRI imaging and support radiology services across ultrasound, CT, PET, and nuclear medicine. The role includes venipuncture when indicated and assisting Radiologists and Radiology nurses with sedation cases.

The position requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification (or ARRT R with MR license planned within 1 year) and Texas State licensure, with a focus on patient safety and quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification; or ARRT (R) with plan to obtain MR license within 1 year.
• Texas Department of State Health certification.
• At least 1 year MRI work experience; or ARRT (R) eligibility and requirement to obtain MR license within 1 year of orientation.

Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program

Current Basic Life Support certification
