Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiology technology.
• ARRT certified MRT license or eligibility.
• MRT State of Texas license required.
• MRI Certification through ARRT required by December 31, 2012.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality MRI scans on all ages under the direction of a Radiologist.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic environment based on practice standards and magnet safety guidelines.
• Participates in departmental improvement activities.
