Job summary

Saint Joseph Hospital, part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams and ensure patient safety. You will prepare patients, operate MRI equipment, and capture detailed images while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

The role requires ARRT MRI credentialing (or eligibility), CPR, and ongoing professional development, with a focus on patient communication and technical proficiency.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• KY Radiologic Technologist license.
• ARRT Registered Radiography or related ARRT certifications listed.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• ARRT MR Imaging registration within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
• Performs procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols.
• Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals.
• Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.
• Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Maintains professional development and education for technical competency.
