The University of Kansas Health System seeks an MRI Technologist II for a PRN position at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, MO. The technologist will operate the MRI scanner, prepare the patient and room, and ensure safety while delivering high-quality diagnostic images.
Responsibilities include imaging quality controls, RIS/PACS data entry, and collaboration with radiologists. Preferred candidates hold an AMA-approved radiologic technology education and MRI experience; ABR certification is preferred.
Position Title MRI Technologist II - PRN Liberty Hospital
Position Summary / Career Interest: Operates MRI scanner; reviews images in PACS. Prepares patient, room, and equipment. Orders supplies and medication. Administers exams and medications according to age specific standards. Assures safe operation of the magnet while providing optimal patient care and applying all principles of patient safety. Uses RIS, PACS and SCM systems and is expected to participate in on-going training and education relating to positioning, technique and MRI safety guidelines.
