Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles is seeking a part-time MRI Technologist to join our fast-paced imaging team. You will perform MR examinations, optimize protocols and ensure patient safety and comfort in a high-volume environment, with 12-hour shifts.

The position requires graduation from an accredited MRI program, ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification (ARRT-R may be Tech I), CRT certification, venipuncture and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited MRI program required.
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required; ARRT-R may be Tech I.
• CRT preferred; venipuncture certification required; BLS required.
• Minimum 2 years' Siemens MR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MR examinations and optimize imaging protocols.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort and high-quality imaging in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with radiology team; participate in weekend rotations as needed.

As a part-time 12-hour MRI Technologist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will work in a fast-paced, busy environment where critical thinking is essential. Attention to detail is a must! We are seeking an MRI Tech with a high level of technical skills and a deep understanding of MR physics and protocol optimization, as well as strong customer service and safety skills. Scheduled days are based on department needs, including weekend rotations.

We are currently offering a $2500 sign-on bonus for this part-time role!

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited MRI Tech program required

Licenses/Certifications:

• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required for consideration as a Tech II


• Applicants with ARRT-R only may be considered as a Tech I


• CRT preferred


• Venipuncture certification required


• BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with Siemens MR in a fast-paced MR facility preferred

Physical Demands:

• Lifting, standing, walking, transporting patients


• Ability to work in ACR ZONE IV environment required
