Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist I for a part-time, 12-hour night shift. You will operate Siemens MR systems, optimize protocols, and ensure patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced environment. A sign-on bonus is offered and weekend rotations may apply.

Minimum qualifications include an accredited MRI tech program, ARRT-MR/ARMRIT or ARRT-R with Tech I eligibility, venipuncture, and BLS. 2+ years of Siemens MR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited MRI Tech program required.
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required for Tech II; ARRT-R considered for Tech I
• CRT preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment in a fast-paced facility with attention to MR physics and protocol optimization.

Each year, almost 500,000 inpatient and outpatient exams and procedures are performed and interpreted at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Our subspecialized imaging physicians, American College of Radiology certified technologists and customer-service oriented staff provide our patients with brand new imaging technologies and innovative treatment options in a compassionate environment.

As a 12-hour MRI Technologist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will work in a fast-paced, busy environment where critical thinking is essential. Attention to detail is a must! We are seeking an MRI Tech with a high level of technical skills and a deep understanding of MR physics and protocol optimization, as well as strong customer service and safety skills. Scheduled days are based on department needs, including weekend rotations.

We are currently offering a $2500 sign-on bonus to newly hired Techs!

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited MRI Tech program required

Licenses/Certifications:

• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required for consideration as a Tech II
• Applicants with ARRT-R only may be considered as a Tech I
• CRT preferred
• Venipuncture certification required
• BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with Siemens MR in a fast-paced MR facility preferred

Physical Demands:

• Ability to work in ACR ZONE IV environment required
