Job summary

Jefferson Outpatient Imaging - Collegeville is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 24-hour per week flex position at our Collegeville, PA imaging center. Under the Radiology Medical Director, you will perform routine to complex MRI procedures and ensure safe, high-quality imaging in accordance with guidelines.

Responsibilities include verifying orders, educating patients and staff, maintaining ALARA, and supporting QA activities.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate degree in Radiology or be a graduate of a two-year radiology program.
• Registered with ARRT in Radiography or ARMIT; MR advanced registry required on hire for IDTF centers.
• Must meet state licensure requirements where they practice.
• Up to 5 years MRI technologist experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex MRI procedures with high image quality.
• Adhere to ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
• Verify orders and document in patient records accurately.
• Educate patients, students and other health care providers.
• Assist in QA activities and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Conduct venipuncture and manage IV access as prescribed.
