Job summary

MercyOne Genesis in Davenport, IA is seeking an MRI Technologist I to join our radiology team. Under limited supervision, you will perform magnetic resonance examinations and related procedures, ensuring patient safety and image quality while following radiologist guidance.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited two-year Imaging Technology program (ARRT) or ARMRIT certified.
• MR credential (ARRT or AMRIT) preferred and active registry status.
• Maintains Basic Life Support qualification and relevant licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform magnetic resonance exams and procedures under radiologist direction.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and image quality during MRI studies.

As an MRI Technologist I at MercyOne Genesis, you will, under limited supervision, perform magnetic resonance exams and procedures under the medical direction of the radiologist in a highly technical and professional manner.

Jumpstart available! Earn monthly financial support while you finish your last semester of school. MercyOne will reimburse your board and licensure fees. Once you have your licensure, start your career with MercyOne (retention requirement based on position).

Schedule

• 36 hours a week
• 1:00 pm - 9:0 pm
• Rotating Weekends
• Rotating Holidays
• Rotating On Call

General Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited two-year Imaging Technology program (ARRT) or ARMRIT certified
• Previous MR experience preferred
• MR credential (ARRT or AMRIT) preferred
• Maintains active registry status
• Completion of the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Mandatory Reporter training specific to the population served within three (3) months of hire
• Maintains Basic Life Support qualification
