University of Maryland Medical System Corporation is hiring an MRI Technologist I to join our imaging team in Maryland. The role involves performing MRI procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and adhering to strict safety protocols to support accurate diagnostics.

This full-time position requires operating MRI equipment, documenting procedures, and collaborating with radiologists and clinicians to deliver high-quality imaging and care, with a 20k sign-on bonus available.

Formación

• Associate degree or certificate in radiologic technology or MRI from a USDE/CHEA-accredited program.
• ARMRIT and/or ARRT (MRI) certification is required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Follow established protocols and safety guidelines to minimize risks associated with MRI scans.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented MRI Technologist I to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This entry-level position requires a strong understanding of MRI technology, patient care, and safety protocols.

• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Follow established protocols and safety guidelines to minimize risks associated with MRI scans.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.
• Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment as needed.
• Document procedures and maintain patient records accurately.
• Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards related to MRI operations.

Education & Experience - Required

• Associate degree, or Certificate, in radiologic technology, or MRI, from a program accredited by an agency recognized by the US Department of Education (USDE) or Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
• 3+ years
• ARMRIT and/or ARRT (MRI) Certification
• Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification

Education & Experience - Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in health science or related field
• 4+ years MRI experience

This is a full-time position requiring flexibility to work various shifts as needed. The role involves direct patient interaction and requires adherence to strict safety protocols.
