Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health in Nashua, NH is seeking an MRI Technologist to produce high-quality MRI images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compassionate care. You’ll work with radiologists, assist invasive procedures, administer contrast, and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities include performing MRI exams, reviewing orders, ensuring safety, mentoring staff, and staying current with MRI protocols in a collaborative hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
• ARRT certification and NH Board of Medical Imaging Licensure required.
• ARRT(MR) certification preferred; 1–2 years MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams including trauma, orthopedic, fluoroscopic, contrast, and invasive procedures.
• Review patient medical information, reconcile orders, and obtain necessary consents and documentation.
• Inspect images for quality and present results to radiologists.
• Assist with invasive procedures and prepare/administer contrast according to protocol.
• Screen patients for MRI safety and use safety equipment appropriately.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MRI technologies and protocols.
• Train and mentor new personnel as needed.

Friday - 10:00am - 10:00pm
Saturday & Sunday - 7:00am - 4:00pm

• Strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with RIS/PACS systems.
