Job summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our radiology team in Cadillac, MI. You will perform MRI scans, position patients, and ensure high-quality imaging to support accurate diagnoses and treatment planning.

The role requires ARRT MRI certification (or eligibility with completion within six months) and preferred two years of MRI experience. A current BLS certification is required, with full-time day scheduling and a vaccination policy in place.

Qualifications

• ARRT MRI certification required or eligible with initiation within six months.
• Two years' MRI experience preferred.
• Maintains BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans independently, operating imaging equipment to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.
• Position and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the scanning process.
• Evaluate images for quality, adjusting techniques to meet radiologist expectations.
• Administer IV contrast and oral medications safely per protocol.
• Assist with QA activities, manage supplies, and help train students and visitors.
• Support departmental operations and contribute to a team-oriented MRI workflow.
