Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and image anatomy to assist physicians in diagnosing disease. You will perform diagnostic MRI exams under Radiologist supervision and provide patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations.

Requirements include an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training; ARDMS or ARRT registration upon hire; and Basic Life Support.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training required.
• No experience required; 6 months MRI experience preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT Radiographer registration upon hire required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support upon hire required.

Responsibilities

• Image anatomical and/or physiologic conditions of the body using MRI to assist physicians in diagnosing disease.
• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the direct supervision of the Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups: neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric.
