Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks an MRI Technologist at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital to perform MRI exams following established protocols and under Radiologist supervision. The role includes patient care, safety, data accuracy, and IV contrast administration when needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of MRI workflows, procedures, operation, and imaging processes.
• Applies MR safety principles to minimize risk to patient, self, and others.
• Confirms quality and accuracy of patient and procedural data.
• selects MRI pulse sequences and scan parameters per protocols.
• Assists in training MRI staff and supervising students.
• Delivers direct patient care before, during, and after MRI procedure.
• Performs IV injections and contrast administration as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI modalities according to established protocols.
• Ensure patient and staff safety during imaging.
• Provide patient care and instruction before, during, and after MRI.
• Assist in training of MRI staff and students.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report malfunctions to maintenance.
