Job summary

Wellstar is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our radiology team. You will set up MRI procedures, correctly position patients, and perform scans with strict attention to safety, quality, and comfort. Must be adaptable to a fast-paced environment and able to work closely with physicians and staff.

Responsibilities include reviewing clinical information, selecting sequences, maintaining image quality, and ensuring patient privacy while upholding department standards and teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification required by hire.
• Minimum 1 year MRI experience in clinical setting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams according to protocols and age-appropriate guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients; ensure safety and comfort.
• Review images for quality and communicate results to physicians as needed.
