The role requires covering PTO days, a Monday–Friday schedule, strict safety protocols, compassionate patient care, accurate RIS/PACS documentation, and collaboration with referring providers to ensure optimal imaging outcomes.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification required.
• Current WA State Radiologic Technologist license.
• CPR/BLS certification current.
• Musculoskeletal MRI experience preferred.
• 2–3 years in physician office or ambulatory MRI department preferred.
• Experience operating SIGNA Explorer 1.5T MRI Scanner.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI and radiography exams, following clinic procedures.
• Pre-screens patients with MRI receptionist; screens prior to MRI.
• Delivers empathetic patient care and maintains professional interactions.
• Consults with referring providers to address MRI questions.
• Communicates imaging issues directly with NOIA.
• Maintains RIS/PACS documentation and clinic computer systems.
• Performs quality control on MRI equipment and reports problems.
• Prioritizes tasks and covers for other technologists as needed.
• Understands and performs basic life support per AHA.
