Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an MRI Technologist for the Baptist Downtown Imaging Department in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time evening role runs Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–10:30pm, with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000. The MRI Tech will perform MRI procedures, ensure safety, and maintain excellent patient interactions.

Required credentials include ARMRIT/ARRT/MR registry or CRT and Basic Life Support. Educational pathways include a vocational/associate degree with ARMRIT or ARRT MR registration within

Qualifications

• MRi technologist experience preferred.
• Imaging experience preferred.
• Hospital setting experience preferred.
• Radiology department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing high-quality MRI procedures.
• Maintaining a positive, comforting demeanor with patients.
• Ensuring compliance with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Protecting self and patients from hazards of the magnetic field.
• Identifying, preparing, administering and documenting medications as prescribed.
