Job summary

Brookwood Baptist Health is seeking MRI Technologists to join our radiology team. The MRI Technologist provides quality patient care while performing diagnostic imaging and ensuring MRI safety.

Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, performing venipuncture for contrast administration, monitoring patient condition, and adhering to state and federal regulations. All experience levels encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology (or) Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography (or) Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
• Valid ARRT certification (or) Valid ARDMS certification (or) Valid NMTCB certification.
• Valid radiologic technologist licensure by the State of Alabama (Preferred).
• All experience levels encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy and/or physiology for interpretation and/or intervention.
• Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to quality care.
• Provides instructions that achieve patient cooperation and desired results.
• Applies MRI safety principles to patients, self, and others.
• Assists in supervision of student technologists and training of new technologists.
