Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire; accepted by AHA or Red Cross.
• One or more of the following credentials required.
• ARRT MR board eligibility or completion within 12 months of hire/transfer.
• MR MRI-specific credentials must be obtained within 12 months of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality cross-sectional images by properly positioning patients and selecting correct settings.
• Prepare and educate patients before exams to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Upload and manage images in PACS so providers have timely access to results.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain equipment and procedure areas for safe, efficient operations.
