Providence Swedish Ballard is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform MRI exams with independent judgment and to assume responsibility for designated imaging areas. The role requires CT coverage when needed; CT work will be paid at the MRI rate.

Qualifications

• Formal radiologic technology training completed.
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist license.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: ARRT Radiography certification.
• Within 1 year of hire: ARRT MRI or NMRT MRI certification.
• 2 years of radiologic technologist experience, MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations with independent judgment.
• Care for patients during imaging procedures.
• When needed, operate CT scans and be paid MRI rate.
