Qualifications

• Current certification or registry as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MR) is required.
• Valid licensure as required by state/country.
• Minimum 1+ years MRI experience.
• Proficiency in performing a variety of MRI procedures safely and accurately.
• In-depth understanding of MRI safety protocols for patients and staff.
• Strong technical skills with MRI machines and related computer systems.
• Excellent communication and patient care abilities.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician's orders and protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging.
• Prepare and position patients accurately for exams.
• Explain procedures and answer patient questions to alleviate concerns.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of procedures.
• Monitor imaging equipment for proper functioning and arrange maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff for image interpretation and patient care.
• Adhere strictly to infection control and safety guidelines.

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
