Job summary

St. Davids Surgical Hospital in Austin, TX is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI scans and radiographs to support diagnosis and treatment.

You will prepare patients, perform scans, label images, and ensure timely communication with the radiologist, all while maintaining patient comfort and safety. The role requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, an associate degree, one year of MRI experience, and a valid BLS.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Associate degree required.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and provide instructions to obtain desired results.
• Complete required documentation on forms, logs, work station and Meditech.
• Administer contrast using proper technique.
• Produce scans of optimal diagnostic quality on patients.
• Label images and identify according to protocol.
• Communicate pertinent information to interpreting radiologist in a timely manner.
