Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of MRI safety, technical imaging principles, and patient care protocols.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history securely.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to maximize safety.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access when prescribed.
• Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and ensure proper data storage or transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, and assist with MRI interventional procedures.
• Select pulse sequences based on protocols and maintain MRI safety standards, including implant safety assessments.
