Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC, seeks an MRI Technologist to provide high-quality magnetic resonance imaging services. The role involves operating complex MRI equipment, assisting physicians, and ensuring patient safety throughout MRI procedures.

Qualified candidates will be ARRT/ARMRIT registered or equivalent, graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program, and have BLS certification with at least two years of MRI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT and/or ARMRIT registered in Magnetic Resonance Imaging. BLS certified.
• Two (2) years of experience in a multi-disciplined Radiology department or approved MRI education.
• Two (2) years' experience in MRI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide imaging services utilizing MRI equipment.
• Perform MRI procedures on a variety of patients, using sterile technique as needed.
• Operate MRI equipment and assist physicians as required.
• Manipulate data and images for interpretation and permanent storage.
• Maintain patient and staff safety in the MRI suite.

Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program
