Job summary

Intermountain Health in Murray, Utah is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform advanced diagnostic MRI exams, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate with radiologists and staff to deliver high-quality care. You will operate MRI equipment, maintain accurate documentation, follow safety and infection control protocols, and contribute to education and mentoring within Intermountain Imaging.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification
• ARMRIT certification
• ARRT(R) cross-trained in MRI
• BLS for healthcare providers
• IV competency within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity, review orders, and prepare patients for MRI examinations.
• Perform MRI examinations according to department protocols while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality care.
• Operate MRI equipment and related information systems while maintaining accurate patient documentation.
• Follow MRI safety guidelines, infection prevention practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with radiologists, providers, caregivers, and support staff to deliver excellent patient care.
• Assist with training and mentoring students and team members as needed.
