Job summary

Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR is seeking an MRI Technologist for full-time evening shifts. The role performs MRI examinations per physician orders, using advanced MRI equipment while considering patient age-related needs.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License or Temporary License.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from ARRT or National Certified MRI Technologist - AR Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists.

Responsibilities

• Performs Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders, utilizing MRI equipment and considering patient needs.
• Utilizes knowledge and judgment regarding imaging factors, technique and patient treatment to produce optimal images.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort throughout MRI procedures.
