Beth Israel Lahey Health Beverly Hospital in Beverly, MA seeks an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI/MRA across age groups. Schedule includes Tue & Wed 7am–7:30pm at Danvers and Fri 7am–7:30pm at Beverly Hospital, full-time.

Under supervision of the MRI Manager and Radiologist, you will safely operate the MRI scanner, screen patients, ensure image quality, and participate in quality-improvement activities. ARRT/ARMRIT licensure and BLS are required; MRI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Licensure: ARRT or ARMRIT (or BS in Radiologic Technology).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• MRI experience preferred; strong communication and teamwork skills.

## MRI Technologist - 36 hours/ Week, DaysApply: Beth Israel Lahey Health: Beverly Hospital: Full time: Posted Today: JR102602**When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives.****Job Description:****Schedule**: Tues & Wed 7am-7:30pm Danvers location; Friday 7am-7:30pm at Beverly Hospital location**Position Summary:** Under general supervision of the Manager of MRI and under the direction of a Radiologist, can perform diagnostic MRI/MRA on pediatric, adult and geriatric patients on designated areas of the body as requested by a physician. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:**• Utilizes all their technical skills and training to ensure the safe and accurate operation of the MRI scanner including the screening of all patients and visitors • Evaluates MRI scans for technical quality under minimal supervision. Perform these duties using independent judgment and initiative • Must project an image of professionalism in conduct, appearance, communication and team work. Participates in the continuous quality improvement process of the department. • Participates in hospital wide compliance assessments • Will be required to take call and rotate to both MRI sites • Performs other related duties as required **Organizational Requirements:** Maintain strict adherence to the Beverly Hospital confidentiality policy. Upholds standards set by the ARRT or ARMRIT regarding diagnostic procedures and professional ethics. **Licensure, Certification & Registration:** American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), American Registry of MRI Technologists (ARMRIT) or Bachelor of Science Degree in Adva Basic Life Support (BLS) **Experience**: Experience in MRI setting preferred Must have excellent communication skills Must maintain a professional manner and appearance Must be able to work independently as well as in a team Must be self-motivated and have ability to work in a healthcare setting Must have basic computer skills Must have basic skills and knowledge necessary to perform venipuncture**Pay Range:**$47.00 - $69.84The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
