Job summary

Hartford Hospital, part of Hartford HealthCare, seeks an MRI Technologist to perform MRI exams in a Level One Trauma Center, operating 24/7 on 3 GE high-field scanners. You will prepare patients, administer contrast, and follow protocols to produce diagnostic images.

The role requires 3 twelve-hour shifts (11:00 a.m.–11:30 p.m.), with rotation of every 3rd weekend; a $10,000 signing bonus is available for new hires.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (ARRT) or graduate from American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) with an Associate Degree with focus in medical image preferably MRI.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

• MRI exam performed by selecting parameters according to protocols to assist diagnosis.
• Prepare and position patients, administer contrast media, and select parameters to produce cross-sectional images.
