Job summary

Hmixray is seeking an MRI Technologist in Florida to join a team dedicated to high-quality imaging and patient care. The role involves performing MRI exams, ensuring safety, administering contrast when needed, and optimizing image quality through technical adjustments.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable
• Must have BLS certification
• A venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through procedures by clearly explaining steps and answering questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient property and Health Information.
• Safeguards on-site medications in accordance with policies and legal requirements.
• Respect company property and patient information on site or portals.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
