Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH seeks an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging exams for diagnosis and treatment. You will educate patients and contribute to quality assessment under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor/Manager.

Qualified candidates will hold a current Radiography license, ARRT (R); MRI advanced registry preferred. For ambulatory settings, ARRT(R) and ODH license are required. A background check may be required post-offer.

Scope/Position Summary

The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging exams for the diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Supervisor/Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

For Hire: In the hospital setting: Current Radiography license, ARRT (R). Advanced registry in MRI preferred. Current Radiography ODH license required or MR only Certified ARRT (MR). Previous MRI Technologist experience is preferred.

In the Ambulatory (Outreach) setting: Current Radiography license, ARRT (R) required. Current Radiography ODH license required. Previous MRI Technologist experience is preferred. Advanced registry in MRI preferred.
