Job summary

Hartford Hospital seeks a motivated MRI Technologist to perform MRI exams at a Level 1 Trauma Center, operating on three GE high-field scanners around the clock. You will prepare and position patients, administer contrast, and adjust imaging parameters to support accurate diagnoses.

This role requires ARRT or ARMRIT credentials and BLS, with a strong emphasis on patient safety, quality imaging, and teamwork in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT or ARMRIT credentialing required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams following established protocols to assist diagnosis.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Inject contrast media when indicated and ensure patient safety during imaging.
• Select and optimize imaging parameters to produce high-quality cross-sectional images.
