Job summary

Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to provide high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care within the medical imaging department.

You will operate MRI equipment, position patients, ensure image quality, and serve as a clinical resource to staff, while upholding ACR guidelines and safety standards. Successful candidates will be ARRT registered in Radiology and MR, with BLS; an Associate's degree is strongly preferred, and one year of imaging

Qualifications

• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT in Radiology and MR.
• BLS certification per American Heart Association.
• Associate or higher degree preferred for growth in the unit.

Responsibilities

• Performs magnetic resonance scans to obtain high quality images while following safety rules.
• Produces complete, accurate, and timely imaging results.
• Instructs patients and families about procedures and addresses their needs.
• Monitors patient and equipment during procedures and documents any issues.
• Maintains operation of MRI equipment and coordinates service when needed.
• Performs IV starts and contrast administration as required.
