Job summary

Allina Health is seeking an MRI Technologist for United Hospital in Saint Paul, MN. The role involves performing MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate documentation. Qualifications

• Registered Technologist - ARRT required
• MRI certification with ARRT preferred upon hire
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire)

Responsibilities

• Completes MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and department guidelines.
• Identifies patient with two identifiers and documents all relevant procedure details.
• Maintains safe patient environment and communicates with patient during the procedure.
• Demonstrates knowledge of diagnostic equipment and ensures imaging is transferred to the storage system.
• Performs clerical functions in Excellian/EMR and supports the team with investigations or issues.
