Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center is hiring a Mammography Technologist to perform quality breast imaging and assist Radiologists in special procedures. The role supports the early detection of breast abnormalities and collaborates with a multidisciplinary imaging team in a busy facility.

Shift is 2:00 PM-10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a focus on patient care, safety, and continuous professional growth within a modern imaging program in Texas.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program meeting MQSA guidelines.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ARRT (M) certification.
• Texas Department of State Health certification.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience.
• ARRT (R) required; must obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of orientation.

In this highly technical allied imaging professional position, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services, which include ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The primary purpose of the Mammography Technologist position is to perform quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologist in special procedures for the purpose and early detection of breast abnormalities.

Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and meets the MQSA guidelines
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists« certification — ARRT (M)
• Texas Department of State Health certification
• Work Experience: 1 year required
• ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation.
