Short Description

• Interview and screen patients prior to MRI procedures to ensure safety and contraindications.
• Perform MRI procedures following established protocols.
• Begin studies, transfer images, document patient history, and complete studies in EPIC/EMR and PACS systems.
• Experience with Cardiac and Pediatrics preferred.
• Siemens MRI experience preferred.
• Correctly apply MRI-compatible monitoring systems and IV infusion pumps when necessary.
• Maintain excellent organizational and communication skills to effectively manage daily workflow.

Experience Required

• At least 1 year of MRI experience.
• Cardiac and Pediatric experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Education Requirements

• Graduate of an approved AMA RT Program.

License/Certification Requirements

• Current ARRT License (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
• Current BLS Certification (Basic Life Support).
