Job summary

Vail Health in Colorado is seeking an MRI Tech who delivers exceptional imaging quality and compassionate patient care. You’ll perform MRI and X-ray exams and support workflow across the department in the beautiful Vail Valley.

Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts. Requirements include ARRT RT(R)(MR), BLS, and 1–2 years MRI experience; healthcare background preferred. Hourly pay ranges from $44.64 to $61.60 USD, with relocation and comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years MRI Tech experience preferred.
• ARRT registry in radiography required.
• Previous healthcare experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all MRI and radiographic exams in accordance with Vail Health protocols.
• Review images for quality and accuracy; ensure timely submission to radiologists.
• Ensure patient identification, documentation, and exam orders are accurate and consistent.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, providers, and care teams to support continuity of care.
• Maintain department standards in confidentiality, safety, infection control, radiation protection, and quality assurance.
• Utilize Vail Health’s HIS and PACS systems to ensure accurate patient documentation.
• Keep exam rooms clean, orderly, and stocked; monitor supplies and notify staff when needed.
• Serve as a role model of Just Culture principles.
• Other duties as assigned; must maintain HIPAA compliance.

About the Opportunity
