Job summary

Akumin is a leading provider of outpatient radiology and oncology services, expanding across multiple locations. We are hiring an MRI Technologist to perform quality imaging while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS registration, state licensure as required, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license. Preference for an associate’s degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS registered technologist.
• State license as required; CPR certification; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prioritize patient safety and pre-screen for contraindications.
• Order supplies, clean the unit, and assist with patient transport preparation.
• Communicate effectively with patients and radiologists.
• Train new technologists and/or PCs.
