Job summary

Ideal candidates hold ARRT radiologic technologist credentials, Washington licensure, BLS certification, and MRI-specific credentials, with MRI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of Radiology Technology program accepted by ARRT.
• Secondary training in cross-sectional anatomy.
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist credential.
• Upon hire: American Heart Association BLS.
• Upon hire: ARRT Radiography registration.
• Within 1 year: MRI Technologist credential or ARRT MRI certification.

Responsibilities

The MRI Technologist performs quality MR procedures on pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in a compassionate and efficient manner; working with the Radiologists to ensure accurate diagnosis.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Successful completion of program in Radiology Technology as accepted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Coursework/Training: Secondary training in cross-sectional anatomy
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Within 1 year of hire
• National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging --or--
• National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in radiology with previous MRI experience
