Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging and assist with sedation as needed. You’ll collaborate with radiologists and the team to provide high-quality imaging across ultrasound, CT, PET, and nuclear medicine services.

Requirements include graduation from an approved Radiologic Technologist Program, BCLS, ARRT MR certification, and Texas licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program.
• Current BCLS certification.
• ARRT MR certification; Texas Department of State Health licensure.
• Work Experience: 1 year preferred or ARRT(R); obtain MR license within 1 year.

Job Description

Your Job: In this highly technical allied imaging professional position, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services, which include ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The primary purpose of the MRI Technologist position is to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging. In addition, he/she performs venipuncture when indicated and assists the Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
• Current BCLS certification
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists« certification - ARRT (MR) Texas Department of State Health certification
• Work Experience: 1 year preferred Or ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (MR) license within 1 year of completing orientation
