Akumin MRI Technologist position seeks an experienced professional to perform high quality MRI studies while ensuring patient safety across on-site and remote environments. You will collaborate with Radiologists and care teams, and may train staff at multiple locations.
Requirements include ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT, CPR certification, state licensure if required, and a strong focus on customer service. Willingness to travel between sites is expected and supported by Akumin.
As an MRI Technologist, you are responsible for patient safety and the performance of high-quality MR studies, on site and/ or remote. Ensures effective communication with Radiologist, team members, patients, and customers for those who work in the mobile environment. When required, trains, and orients new technologists, Patient Coordinators and/or MR Technologist Assistants.
The employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions during transport of patients if working on a mobile unit. The employee will be exposed to a strong magnetic field. May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease, and communicable disease when interacting with patients.

The final compensation offer is determined by several factors, including internal equity, experience, education, training, specialty, location, licensing, and business needs. The listed pay range is not a guarantee of a specific wage.
The pay range for this position is $38.58 - $46.15 per hour based on direct and relevant experience.
