Job summary

Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, with a focus on MRI, for adult and pediatric patients. You will prepare patients and equipment, perform studies independently, and be available for on-call and portable exams across multiple sites.

Qualifications include an Associate or Trade School equivalent, RT(R) registration, and CPR/IV therapy training preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or trade school equivalent.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid RT(R) registration; RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, RCIS, or RCES preferred.
• Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Cross-training: MRI, CPR, and IV therapy certifications advantageous.

• Maintain quality control and ensure patient safety during imaging.
• Handle on-call duties and work in various clinical settings as needed.

Job description

This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, on adult and pediatric patients for diagnostic and treatment purposes. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, performs studies independently, and may handle on-call, portable exams, and work across different sites.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper patient and equipment preparation for imaging procedures.
• Conduct imaging studies independently, including during on-call and portable situations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Associate or Trade School equivalent.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid registration as Radiologic Technologist (R.T. (R)), with additional certifications such as RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, or RCES preferred.
• Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Additional Skills: Willingness to cross-train in MRI, CPR, and intravenous therapy certifications are advantageous.
