Premier Radiology, a Radiology Partners practice, seeks an MRI Technologist to maintain protocols, perform daily QC, and ensure a safe MRI environment at our Nashville-area centers. You will perform IV insertions when contrast is needed, adhere to ACR standards, and collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and staff.

Qualificações

• Must have degree in radiologic technology and be certified by ARRT or ARMRIT.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Ability to perform intravenous injections with proficiency.
• Ability to interact efficiently and courteously with clinical staff and patients.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain protocols as directed by MRI Coordinator/Lead.
• Perform daily QC and maintain MRI scanner quality per ACR and regulatory standards.
• Maintain a safe MRI environment with proper screening.
• Perform IV injections for contrast according to OSHA guidelines.
• Demonstrate competency in all MRI examinations and equipment operations.

Position Summary:

• Responsible formaintainingprotocols as directed by the MRI Coordinator/Lead(s).
• Performs andmaintainsdaily check-ups and quality control on MRI scanners required by American College of Radiology (ACR), and thestateDepartment of State Health Services and any other credentialing organizations as required bylaw.
• Responsible formaintaininga safe MR environment including proper screening of all persons entering the MRI suite following best practice standards.
• Performs IV insertion when contrast is needed following proper guidelines asestablishedby Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
• Demonstrates competency andproficiency, following protocols, in the performance of:All MRI examinations and equipment in their assigned work area, proper positioning of the patient, selectionof theappropriate protocolwhilemaintainingacceptable technical adjustments, proper post processing of MRI examinations and proper identification of cross-sectional anatomy.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Graduate oferognized,approved AMAcouncilof Education program in radiological technology.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
• Requires currentBLS.
• Mustdemonstrateabilityto perform intravenous injections withproficiency.
• Ability to deal efficiently and courteously with all clinical personnel and patients, and toestablisheffective working relationships
