Job summary

vTech Solution is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures in radiology and cardiology settings, operating MRI equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort while producing high-quality images.

The role requires ARDMS and BLS certifications, at least two years of MRI experience, and a valid license or eligibility to practice. On-call duties apply, with a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule (Mon-Thu, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM). Located in Everett, WA.

Qualifications

• Active BLS certification required.
• ARDMS certification with AB or OB/GYN certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience.
• Active compact license or eligibility from Providence facilities separated for 3 months.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Prepare patients for MRI exams, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality imaging and patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation, responding to imaging requests as needed.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and quality control checks.

This role involves operating MRI equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and producing high-quality diagnostic images. The MRI Tech collaborates with healthcare providers to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Candidates must hold relevant certifications and have a minimum of two years of experience. The position includes on-call duties and follows a 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Prepare patients for MRI exams, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality imaging and patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Active BLS certification.
• ARDMS certification and either ARDMS AB or ARDMS OB/GYN certification (one required).
• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience.
• Active compact license or eligibility from non-Swedish Providence facilities separated for 3 months.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience working in radiology and cardiology imaging departments.
• Previous traveler experience in similar roles.

Special Considerations:

• On-call requirement of 2-3 shifts per month.
• Position may accept first-time travelers.
• Must comply with facility licensure and certification requirements.

Scheduling:

• Work schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM.
