Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Multimodality Technologist to operate MRI and cross-train into C-arm or CT in Minnesota. The role focuses on producing diagnostic MRI images with patient-centered care and adherence to safety standards.

This full-time position typically runs Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm with occasional 6:30 am–3:00 pm shifts; weekend rotation is included. A $5,000 relocation or sign-on bonus is offered to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiography.
ARRT registered technologist in good standing.
Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
Current CPR certification.
Must be able to perform MRI procedures independently.
Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

Screens patients before exam and verify identifiers.
Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures, position for scanning.
Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision.
Adjust MRI parameters and maintain patient records in RIS.
Maintain clean, safe work area and equipment.
Ensure equipment is disinfected and accredited per standards.
Support MRI department with protocol manuals and upgrades.

Job Summary

There is a $5,000 relocation or sign‑on bonus for this role. RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Multimodality Technologist to join our team. This exciting role will work in MRI and cross‑train into C‑arm or CT. As an MRI/CT or MRI/Carm Technologist you will operate your assigned scanner(s) to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes. Taking a patient‑centered approach, you will provide services within professional standards and deliver excellent customer service.

This is a full‑time position working Monday‑Friday typically from 8:00 am‑4:30 pm with occasional 6:30 am‑3:00 pm shifts; weekend rotation is included. The position has the option to work part‑time (30‑39 hrs/week benefit eligible) as a 0.8 or 0.9 FTE status for more work/life balance. Willing to train!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Patient MRI Imaging (90%)

Screens patients before exam for any precautions or contradictions, using two patient identifiers to ensure the correct patient and procedure.
Explains and prepares patients for MRI procedures, including positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately scanned.
Performs routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury with minimal supervision and provides patient support throughout the procedure.
Adjusts MRI scan parameters correctly and as needed.
Follows physicians’ orders precisely, conforms to safety regulations, and accurately maintains patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
Maintains an orderly and clean work area, sanitizes equipment, and promotes good safety habits for patients and team members.
Maintains equipment in good working order; cleans and disinfects equipment after each use.
Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.

MRI Department Support (5%)

Assists with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades.
Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary.
Assists in the training of new team members, providing resource and technical expertise as applicable.

Completes Other Tasks as Assigned (5%)

Other related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

High School diploma, or equivalent.
Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform MRI procedures independently.
Certification in imaging specialty.
