Job summary

Medical City Decatur, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures and provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced radiology department.

The role requires ARRT MR certification and adherence to safety standards, with involvement in QA, documentation, and call coverage. Join a team recognized for excellence in a large healthcare system in Texas.

Qualifications

• Provides quality MRI procedures following physician orders.
• Maintains high standards of patient care with excellent service.
• Participates in call and holiday coverage as required.
• Maintains competency and up-to-date knowledge of MRI procedures.
• Participates in equipment quality control (QC).
• Completes all records and documentation accurately and timely.
• Practices radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Engages in department initiatives and process improvements.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs quality MRI procedures, follows physician's orders, practices quality patient care, exercise excellent customer service, participates in call/holiday coverage, maintains competencies and current knowledge of procedures, participates in equipment Q.C., completes all records and documentation, practices radiation safety, involved in department initiatives.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate
• (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or (ARRT-R) Radiography must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Medical Radiologic Technologist License (TMB)
• +1 year of MRI experience preferred
