Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a skilled MRI technologist to perform high‑quality MRI exams while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will collaborate with physicians and staff to follow orders and departmental protocols.

The role requires knowledge of MRI procedures and safety, IV contrast administration, and accurate documentation in EMR/PACS. A ARMRIT or ARRT MR certification, BLS, and at least 1 year radiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree preferred.
• ARMRIT or RT(MR) certification preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use.

• Position patients and manage immobilization for high-quality imaging.
• Administer IV contrast per safety guidelines and monitor patients.
• Perform daily system quality control (QC) checks and document in EMR/PACS.
• Follow safety protocols, patient identification, and time-out procedures.
