Job summary

Lumera Healthcare Group is seeking an MRI Technician to operate advanced imaging equipment and capture high-quality diagnostic images across hospitals, imaging centers, and outpatient facilities nationwide.

The role emphasizes patient safety, comfort, and accurate results, with a focus on collaboration with radiologists and physicians. Relevant ARRT MR certification, BLS/CPR, and state licensure support eligibility and growth.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology or MRI Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT (MR) certification required or registry eligible with plan to complete certification.
• Current state licensure (if applicable).
• BLS/CPR certification.
• 1+ year of MRI tech experience preferred; new grads may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Position patients correctly and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment to capture clear, accurate images.
• Follow safety guidelines to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure to magnetic fields.
• Monitor patients during scans and respond promptly to any signs of distress.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and provide compassionate, professional care.
